PRACTICE TO PASS
JOE TOWNSEND
Practice to Pass, 2022 Edition, is a composite of four practice examinations A, B, D, & E, in one convenient book. The examinations in Practice to Pass are divided into the 4 new Domains of Practice which will be effective July 2022. Each examination is representative of both the CORE of Knowledge and the Line of Service (NHA) test on the national examination.
An important feature in the book is a section on math problems/formulas (and answers) such as medication error rate, employee turnover, gross profit, etc. Administrators need these math skills to help ensure quality care and a profitable facility.
The individual examinations sell for $24.50 each. Practice to Pass can be yours at the reduced price of $93.00. As the title indicates, just as you must practice to win in any sport, you must practice to pass any examination including the NAB Nursing Home Administrator's Examination.

NHA PRACTICE EXAM
JOE TOWNSEND
NHA Practice Exam
This practice examination is designed to help you study and prepare for the national licensing examination. Effective July 2022, the format will reflect the new 4 Domains of Practice. Domain I-Care Services, and Support, Domain II-Operations, Domain III-Environment and Quality, and Domain IV-Leadership and Strategy.
The national examination conducted by NAB currently has two distinct tests. The Core of Knowledge exam is comprised of 110 questions and the Line of Service exam is a 55-question exam. One must note that 10 questions on the "CORE" and 5 questions on the "LOS" do not count against your score, however, you will not know which ones count or don't count, so please answer all questions. The Core exam tests the skills and knowledge considered to be common for all long-term care and post-acute healthcare administrators. The questions in the Line of Service exam (LOS) are specific to the type of health care field for which the candidate is pursuing a license, e.g., Assisted Living, Hospice, Home Health, and Nursing Home Administration. The Line of Service questions on this practice examination are designed for those preparing for their nursing home administrator's license.
